Shikara / Motor Boat Cruise

Shikara is a mixed version of Alleppey Houseboats and Kashmiri Boathouses. It is small in size with roof and wall carved with bamboo sheets and are beautiful epitome of handicraft work in elegant Kerala style. Best feature of a Shikara boat is that it can travel through very small canals where Houseboats cannot reach.

Motor Boat is quite similar to Shikara boat, but more spacious and faster. Motor Boats are recommended for people who travel in groups.
